A current job posting for a technical writer calls for experience “using a recognized document content management system (CMS), writing/editing in XML, DITA.” Our next webinar will explore the theory and practice behind that job requirement. On Thursday, September 20, Nenad Furtula will present a webinar titled “Why ‛Intelligent Content’?”

Nenad will discuss how the enterprise software landscape is changing — from monolithic on-premise products to cloud-based micro-services, from one-size-fits-all products to custom solutions for different markets and customer segments, from annual releases to weekly updates, and from closed to open, integrated systems.

What imperatives do these changes introduce for our content, toolset, architecture, and delivery options? How do technical communication teams adapt and respond to this rapidly changing landscape, and to continuously evolving user expectations?

This presentation will address the broad needs and business drivers for structured intelligent content and what it takes to transition to it.
