Joel B. President

Joel is a technical writer with over 25 years’ experience in diverse fields: aerospace, health care, banking, food, and horticulture. He joined the STC in 2000 and volunteers as the current Webmaster and previously as Vice President.

Kristie N. Secretary

Kristie is a technical communicator and science content designer with over 10 years of experience. She combines her science, GIS, and health backgrounds to help design accessible science and health content, mainly in healthcare. Kristie joined the STC in 2021 and has served as Secretary for the STC Canada West Coast chapter since 2023.

Heather S. Advisor to the Board

Heather is a senior technical writer and editor with over 20 years of experience delivering clear, concise writing for business and technical audiences. She is an STC Associate Fellow and has served in many volunteer positions with the STC Canada West Coast chapter.
