Come celebrate the 40th anniversary of the STC Canada West Coast chapter! Bring your family (kids are welcome) and your significant other. There will be Ice cream cake, coffee, tea, juice, and plenty of time to socialize and celebrate (rain or shine).
When: Saturday, Sept 28, 2019 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM.
Where: Juan de Fuca Colwood Rotary covered picnic shelter and playground. Yes, that is a long title for a location. Here is a link to the location.
Directions:
- Drive to the Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre at 1767 Island Highway.
- Next, drive behind the building and follow the road past the Q centre.
- Keep driving straight until you reach the end of the road and then turn left.
- Drive past the baseball field and park at the end of the parking lot.
- Walk through the playground to get to the picnic shelter.

The kids can play at the park while we socialize and celebrate the 40th anniversary of our chapter and 3 years of Tech Comm Cafés in Victoria. We’ll also share a few fun facts about the chapter.
The Tech Comm Café provides networking opportunities, job leads, answers to work-related dilemmas, and a burst of professional energy to keep you motivated. We welcome anyone who’s interested in technical communication — contractor, in-house, student, long-time tech writer, STC member, non-member, career-changer, or recruiter. We hope to see you there!
