With our biggest event over for this year, we are now looking to focus on the other two events we have planned for the year. Before I spring into that, I’d like to mention the Making Tracks event that took place on January 31st. Thank you to the volunteers who dedicated their time to make the event happen. We had eight fantastic sessions during the day with a networking lunch and I received a number of messages from participants with positive feedback about how much they enjoyed the event. We are working on getting a recap up on the website so check back periodically to see what you missed!
Now, let’s look forward. We are working two more events for this year. The first one is a follow up to our September event and will focus on Instructional Design for video. We are still working on the details but, should have them ironed out soon. It’ll be on March 28th so save it in your calendar! We’ll announce the details soon so check out the next Coastlines and stay tuned to the website.
The other event we have planned will be on April 25th. We will have our AGM so make sure your membership is up-to-date so you can vote on the incoming executive. We will also have three or four sessions during the day on various topics. We’ve been throwing out ideas for what the session topics might be and if you have any ideas, please be sure to send us your ideas (email me at president [at] stcwestcoast.ca or send us a message through the contact form).
