Join us for the second in a series of Tool webinars, where we will have experts outline a specific Tech Comm tool, and why it is something that should be in your arsenal.
Our second tools webinar is on the Madcap Software Suite (particularly Flare and Capture) and will be May 13th. Beth Haggerty will be outlining how best to use them for creating and managing technical online content.
The webinar is not an in-depth “how-to”, but instead provides advantages when using the Madcap Software Suite.
Beth will go through the ART involved in technical writing and delivering content:
- A – creating articles or topics used as building blocks in multiple configurations and outputs.
- R – Reusing a single-source of content, eliminating redundancies.
- T – tagging content for multiple use, applying meta data to enable search engine optimization.

Beth Haggerty, well experienced in writing for technology companies, has certification in Technical Communications Management, Information Mapping and Advanced Madcap Software. A certified Metadata Specialist, she’s fanatical about creating intuitive taxonomies to drive information consistency and findability. She’s also the comedic podcaster of justSayIT, Technical Writers’ LAUGH.
