The STC Canada West Coast chapter awards STC student memberships annually. Successful applicants receive a one-year STC student membership, valued at US$80.00.
To be eligible, students must provide proof of current enrollment in an approved post-secondary technical, professional, or business writing program in Canada, either full-time or part-time in the membership year. We also encourage any applicants to volunteer with the chapter in some way, some examples include: writing website articles, helping with events, or writing meeting recaps.
Student STC members receive all Professional and Academic member benefits, as well as membership in one professional and one student chapter, the Academic SIG (special interest group), and one additional SIG.

To apply, download the Word form, fill it out, and email it to the Student Outreach Coordinator.
The deadline for applications is end of day Friday, October 13, 2023. Winners will be announced in November and announced here once they have been contacted.
The free memberships run from January 1, 2024 until December 31, 2024.
