The Society for Technical Communication (STC) Canada West Coast chapter is pleased to announce we have given out five STC student memberships for January 2024.
Four students are currently enrolled at Simon Fraser University, in Vancouver, British Columbia, and one at Mount Royal University, in Calgary, Alberta. Congratulations to Mark Bylsma, Amanda Atkin, Lee Tipton, Peter Speers, and Carli Grobler.

This year’s student membership award winners have backgrounds in subjects such as: visual communication, IT recruiting, copywriting, editing, health care services, and manufacturing. Similarly, their interests vary from accessibility in writing, the start-up ecosystem, and reading fiction.
